Mission of Toys For Tots

 The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

For families registering to receive toys this year, you will need to provide one of the following forms of ID: An orignal birth certificate, a medical card, and a state or goverment issued ID. (NOTE: NO PHOTO COPIES OF ANY KIND WILL BE ACCEPTED) All other forms of identification will not be accepted. You will need to provide adoption records or a birth certificate for each child you pick up toys for. This is to ensure that we help the maximum number of children.

To Ensure we are serving our Lake County residents we are going to require the following form of ID:Illinois driver licence, Illinois ID, or a piece of mail showing your address in Lake County.  For example: a utility bill (electric, water, telephone land/cell, cable or gas), vehicle registration card, pension or retirement statement, tuition or invoice/official mail from college or university, Deed/title mortgage rental/lease agreement, Insurance policy, or a cancelled check. It is highly encouraged that children be left at home when coming to the warehouse to pick up toys.

Para las familias que se registran este ano para recibir juguetes: Usted tendra que proporcionar una de los siguientes formas de identificacion: el original certificado de nacimiento (NO foto copias), una tarjeta medica (Ninguna foto copia), y uno de estado o gobierno emitido indentificacion (ID) Ninguna foto copias seran acceptadas.

Todas las demas formas the identificacion NO seran aceptadas.  Usted tendra que proporcionar un cerfificado de nacimiento para cada nino que va a recibir juguetes.  Esto es para asegurar que podamos ayudar al numero maximo de ninos. 

Tambien, al fin de verificar su residencia en el Condado de Lake por favor traiga con usted una forma de identification: licencia de conducer de Illinois, Illinois ID, o una pieza de correo que muestra la direccion en el Condado de Lake.  Por ejemplo: una cuenta de servicios publicos (electricidad, agua, telefono fijo/cellular, cable o gas), tarjeta registro del vehiculo, la declaracion de pension o retiro, la matricula official de la Universidad, escritura/titulo de Hipotecas de alquiler/acuerdo de arrendamiento, poliza de seguro, o un cheque cancelado.

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.
